Once there lived a boy whose name was Nadaz. He lived with his brother. The name of his brother was Chim.
One day, Nadaz and Chim went to a village in Nagaland for a science study tour. His father took them to the village, and then the forest beyond the village.
His father said, "See, how many plants and trees are growing in the forest!"
Chimp didn't listen to his father. He silently plucked leaves from the plants and trees and threw them down into the ground. Like they were garbage.
After a while, they saw a vegetable growing in a tree. His father said, "Let's pick the vegetable from the tree and put it in our fridge. We will eat it after some time".
Chim wasn't listening to his father.
Nadaz ate some fruits from a nearby tree. Then he washed his hands, and with his wet hands, he plucked a vegetable and put it in his bag.
Then they put it into the fridge at home.
The next day, they opened the fridge and took out the vegetable. It had become spoiled.
He threw out the vegetable. Then he went out and brought a vegetable.
He put the fridge on high cool. The vegetable did not look good the next day.
He threw out the vegetable and brought in another.
That vegetable, he kept in the fridge again. This time, he put the temperature in the fridge low cool.
Again, the next day, he found that the vegetable had become spoiled.
He threw it out and went to the school in the morning.
He told his teacher, "Madam, we should not touch vegetable with our wet hands. The micro organisms in our hand will attack the vegetable and spoil it. We should not also keep fruits and vegetables in the fridge in very cold temperature. They don't look good after that. And also, we should keep them warm inside the fridge. They become very much spoiled".
"Clap for the boy," said his teacher. Everyone in the class clapped for Nadaz.
And then the teacher turned to Chim. "What did you find?" she asked him.
Chim stared blankly.
Madam gave him a strong scolding. Chim felt very ashamed.
